Botanical Garden, Kraków



Established in the 18th century, the Kraków botanical garden is a great place for a stroll among flower beds, the rockery or arboretum. The colourful flowers and fish splashing in the ponds will delight the children. But when the weather is foul, be sure to visit the greenhouse.

ZOO, Wolski Wood, Kraków



Wolski Wood is the largest green enclave of Kraków. Covering the uplands, it is situated in the west part of the city, 8km from the centre. A few beautiful hiking and cycling tracks have been marked out here. However, the greatest attraction for children will surely be the local zoological garden. The forested region has become home for almost 1500 animals – representatives of nearly 300 species. A number of catering points are in operation before the entrance to the zoo.

Jordan Park, Kraków




Jordan Park is one of the most popular walking and recreational sites in Kraków, offering volleyball and basketball courts, football pitches, a skate park and a little pond which can be traversed aboard pedal boats. It also includes a large playground for young children and electric cars for rent. In the winter children can even sledge downhill. The Jordan café welcomes everyone for a coffee and a little something to eat.

“Strefa Wolnego Czasu”: Zarabie “Free Time Zone”, Myślenice


Situated in the picturesque valley of Raba, the recreational district of Myślenice tempts with numerous attractions. Here, in the summer, you can spend a great time at the swimming pool or bathing beaches in Górny and Dolny Jaz, while in the winter you can ski on Chełm Mountain. Zarabie offers a wide range of accommodation, catering and sporting facilities for those who desire a few days stay here. It is also welcoming to children – as well as aquatic recreational facilities, there are numerous playgrounds awaiting them. Also, you can ascend Chełm Mountain via cable car and then climb the viewing tower. By the inn perched on top of the mountain, a number of popular cycling, descending, hiking and tourist tracks can be found. Zarabie also includes a Nature Park (for older children and adolescents) complete with a paintball field for the shooting of paint, a rough-terrain quad track (with ramps, ditches, and gentle and sharp bends), a rope course suspended 4m above the ground (for children over 140cm high), flying-fox rides, and an inflated 8-metre-high climbing wall (divided into easy routes for older children and more difficult ones for adolescents and adults). Additionally, you can also play volleyball, badminton or pétanque (a form of boules or balls).

In order to reach Zarabie, you need to pull off Zakopianka after the flyover in Myślenice, drive over the Rabia bridge, turn right and go straight till you reach the car parks.


ABlandia, Krościenko and Rytro



Ablandia rope parks offer diverse courses in respect of height as well as difficulty. The main attraction of the park in Rytro is BigSwing, also called Infernal Pendulum, where the courageous are elevated to a height of 16m and then let loose to glide over the precipice, following the motion of a pendulum. The park in Krościenko offers, among other things, the Tower of Power: an 18-metre structure fitted with attractions of all kinds (such as a hanging ladder, a flying-fox ride, and an obstacle course).

     Krakowski Rope Park

 Krakowski Rope Park is located in Kraków-Dębniki at ul. Widłakowa. Not leaving the city, we can experience a great adventure by covering the route of 200 m at a height of 5 to 9 m. Additional attractions offered by the Park are the MiniGolf and Mega Trampoline. It is entertainment for all, regardless of age. And everything takes place under supervision of the qualified staff and instructors.

Borek Active Leisure Centre



The recreational part of the centre offers, among other things, a bathing beach with lifeguards, karting and quad tracks, a climbing wall, a stud farm, sport fields, playgrounds and a mini-zoo. A special attraction is the World of Salt Rocks amusement park, which is educational (5 years of age and above). Kids can see here miniatures of a salt mine in Bochnia, an aristocratic castle, a mining village and many other buildings dating back to the times when salt was as precious as gold.
